I love staying here. I've stayed here several times in the past 2 years. I always sleep peacefully in clean rooms. Helen is very friendly, welcoming and respectful. Cozy and home-like. My favorite place in Baggs.
Our family stayed a night on our way to Colorado. Our room had a full bed and a twin. We shared a bathroom with a shower. Everything was very clean. Helen was responsive and accommodating. She pointed us to the local playground and recommended the Mexican restaurant. We appeared to be the only non regulars at the Inn. It seems the Inn is nearly full every night with construction workers from a local project, who were all very nice, friendly and respectful of our family. Next door was a
Karen was super nice though, just didn't work out for us since bed and breakfast type places don't jive with us.
In fact it is not even cutely decorated. ( Well, there is a lot of "chicken" decor. )
And, can she ever cook a breakfast.!
It is not a cutely decorated old victorian house.
"Private Zoo" which my son loved looking at. June in Baggs has some nasty bugs appear around dusk.
And It is not really a house for that matter.
Helen, the proprietor, is a loving good hearted soul,
The Bobcat is not what I think of when I think Bed and Breakfast.
What it is, is "comfortable and caring"
It is like staying in your dear old Aunt's house.
So we wound up not staying here. We didn't realize it was a bed and breakfast when we reserved the room and we have dogs and just weren't comfortable staying there. We definitely like our own space/bathroom etc. The rooms looked clean, however the kitchen was a bit of a mess.
Our stay at Helen's Bobcat Inn was very comfortable, quiet and the food was excellent. We look forward to returning to Baggs, WY -- just to stay with Helen !
